Defining Delicious

de·li·cious

The reason I have two jobs.
Now that boyfriend’s outta the picture (his loss anyway), Justin can have my heart. Actually, he stole it long ago. Back when I experienced Whole Foods for the first time I spotted a squeezie pack of this “Nutella knockoff” and nabbed it. I saved the little pouch of chocolate-y goodness until it was perfect weather: a rainy night in need of some chocolate. It was love at first bite.
I thought living as a vegan meant I’d never be able to drizzle Nutella on my pancakes or enjoy it straight up. Of course, I also thought it’d mean I would have to give up Bailey’s, but I didn’t…. Anyway, back to the point, Justin is a genius. A true hero. And if it means I have to go without gas for a week, then so be it.
Is there a certain food that you’ll “splurge” on when you buy groceries?

Ahahahahah! YUMMMMMM! You crack me up though, literally. Giving up nutella was a “downside” of veganism for me too. Nothing quite compared to the yumminess, but this.. this is good stuff!!!

Fresh fruit is one of the biggest things I splurge on when buying groceries. Who doesn’t love fresh pineapple (precut) and watermelon (precut)!!!

I’ve never tried any Justin’s! [Gasp!]
But in general…my splurges always go to (other) nut butters or yogurts.

Oh yeah! Synchronicity — In Atlanta we have been under snow and ice all week — no snowplows yada yada — only one of our cars can make it out of the driveway. Went to Kroger for some more coffee and organic milk (for my non-vegan family). The shelves were completely bare, except for Justins, that is! So I got it. Will try it this morning — I never feel deprived being vegan, but I will say I’ve missed nutella. My Justin’s only cost 8.99. Love your blog!
